The nominal diameter (DN, 'Diamètre Nominal') describes the approximate internal diameter of a pipe in millimetres, e.g. DN100 for around 100 mm. It determines which renovation method is suitable: Sprayliner for small diameters (DN50–DN125), inliners for larger sewers.
